3×5 Outdoor Rainbow Flag (Pride in Diversity)
Description
The rainbow flag, sometimes pride flag or gay pride flag, is a symbol of lesbian, same-sex attracted, bisexual, and trans (LGBT) pride and LGBT social movements in use since the 1970s. The colors reflect the diversity of the LGBT community, and the flag is often used as a symbol of gay pride in LGBT rights marches. It originated in the United States, but is now used worldwide. Crafted by San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker in 1978, the design has undergone several revisions to first remove then re-add colors due to widely on hand fabrics. As of 2008, the most common variant consists of six stripes, with the colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. The flag is commonly flown horizontally, with the red stripe on top, as it would be in a natural rainbow.

I needed a flag that was the same size or smaller than my US flag and of good quality. This was a perfect choice. Successfully made, good price, correct size. I would buy again and recommend for you.

2x3 rainbow flag
The Progress Pride flag was developed in 2018 by non-binary American artist and designer Daniel Quasar (who uses xe/xyr pronouns). Based on the iconic rainbow flag from 1978, the redesign celebrates the diversity of the LGBTQ group and calls for a more inclusive society. In 2020, the V&A acquired a bespoke applique version of the Progress Self-acceptance flag that can be seen on display in the Design 1900 – Now gallery.
'Progress' is a reinterpretation of multiple iterations of the pride flag. The original 'rainbow flag' was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978 to celebrate members of the gay and lesbian political movement. It comprised eight coloured stripes stacked on top of each other to evoke a rainbow, a symbol of desire. Baker assigned a specific meaning to each colour: pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for magic, indigo for serenity and violet for spirit. A year later the pink and turquoise stripes were dropped owing to a shortage of pink fabric at the time and legibility concerns, resulting in the six-colour rainbow flag most commonly used in the first decades of the 21st century.

"I thought a lgbtq+ nation should have a flag too, to proclaim its retain idea of power," he said, according to the Gilbert Baker Foundation.
Today, the rainbow flag is a symbol of joy, identity and the persistence of the LGBTQ community in the meet of discrimination and anti-LGBTQ legislation. Over the years, updates are an homage to the past and a gesture toward the future.
Here are two redesigned flags that include nuance and honor marginalized groups in the LGBTQ+ community.
What execute the colors of the Progress Pride flag mean?
The Progress Lgbtq+ fest flag is a reimagined take on the traditional pride flag, which has six colored stripes in the order of the rainbow. The progress pride flag includes black, brown, blue, pink and white in a chevron layout on top of the rainbow colors.
The six rainbow colors altogether symbolize hope, but have individual meanings:
