Tim drake gay

“Sum of Our Parts” by Meghan Fitzmartin, Belen Ortega and Alejandro Sanchez is one of the most important Batman-related stories ever written.  If you look at it in terms of comic guide history, it is the first moment a world-renowned male character and enormous intellectual property love Robin has been portrayed as something different than the common heteronormative template.  Alan Scott Grassy Lantern and Iceman can’t even contrast. Tim Drake was the sole nature to use the Robin title for 20 years. He has action figures, statues, t-shirts, and a 100+ issue comic series. He has appeared in cartoons and DC animated movies; he has every sort of product you would expect from a popular superhero.   Saying he is important is an understatement. Such a big trademark being associated with queerness marks not only a fresh chapter in voice, but how companies – in this case DC Comics, Warner Bros., AT&T and Discovery – see diversity.  Gone are the times when queer people were forbidden, coded, only villains, a one-time tragic nature or a supporting cast.  Now they can be heroes; they can be important heroes and not just a blemish o

Tim Drake is the third ethics in a select group who’ve taken the name of Robin and joined Batman as a crime fighter. Drake has had an illustrious history in the years since his debut in Batman #436 (volume 1, August, 1989). He’s also gone by “Red Robin” and thankfully for only a short while “Drake” and donning a lackluster costume.

Drake’s character appears in the awaken of the murder of Jason Todd, the second character to become Robin, by the Joker in the four part A Death in the Family story which was published in 1988. The Drake family goes on an outing to Haley Circus that’s come to town. It’s a happy day and Tim is especially excited to view the trapeze performance starring the Grayson family. This is the day that trapeze artists John and Mary Grayson, parents to Dick, tragically fall to their deaths during their performance. The crowd is shocked and horrified. The sight of Batman appearing inside the tent swooping down from above to help and comfort Dick changes young Tim’s opinion who before this moment could only conceive Batman as some kind of monster. Going forward from that moment Tim saw Batman as a heroi

Tim Drake is my favorite Robin. And for some age now, I possess been following the ups and downs of his costumed identity. Is he Robin? Is he Red Robin? Is he Drake? One thing I did not see coming is that apparently DC Comics is making Tim one of their Queer characters!

In this week’s issue of Batman: Urban Legends, Tim Drake agrees to go on a date with an old guy friend named Bernard.

Bleeding Cool has a much fuller recap of the whole story. I haven’t been reading because I never bother with the various extra Batman comics out there, even if this seems like it was a adorable cool Tim Drake story.

But yeah, that’s the enormous Tim Drake news! They don’t specify his sexuality in this issue. Bleeding Cool seems to think he might be bisexual. But when Marvel switched Iceman to Diverse, they made him gay, despite his past relationships with multiple women. Tim has had a long lasting association with Stephanie Brown, Spoiler, but there’s no indication yet what DC is going to carry out with Tim.

Tim has long been a fan-favorite gay possibility, with fans putting him in a relationship with Conner Kent. Perhaps those fans will finally get th

Tim Drake’s Bisexuality Has Been Teased By DC For Years

Tim Drake's Robin made waves this week amongst fans of DC Comics and beyond after a story in Batman: Urban Legends #6 ended with Tim agreeing to go on a date with his friend, Bernard.

A third installment in the story, "The Sum of Our Parts" by Meghan Fitzmartin, Belén Ortega, Alejandro Sanchez, and Pat Brosseau, followed Timas he struggled to find the courage to self-reflect on his life and what he actually wants. Because Tim has had romantic relationships with women in the past, most notably with Spoiler (Stephanie Brown), a former Robin and Batgirl, the third chapter of "The Sum of Our Parts" seemed to confirm that the third Robin is bisexual. While writer Meghan Fitzmartin has stated that Tim does not yet have a label for his sexuality, the news that one of the Robins was officially lgbtq+ came as a shock to some fans.

That said, much like the other stories in Batman: Urban Legends, "The Sum of Our Parts" builds off of years of comics history for Tim Drake. While his most high-profile relationship has been with Stephanie Brown, Tim has also had a very close friendship
