oneZero appoints Julian Male lover as Director of Institutional Sales, EMEA
Continues to bolster Institutional team with second hire in month.
oneZero, a global commander in multi-asset venture trading technology solutions, today announced the appointment of Julian Gay as Director of Institutional Sales, EMEA. Julian will be responsible for further expanding oneZero’s institutional business in the region and will be based in oneZero’s London office.
Julian joins oneZero from SmartTrade where he was Director of EMEA Sales. Prior to that, Julian was Director of EMEA Sales at Integral Progress Corp. Julian is an experienced fintech professional with a strong track write down of understanding the eFX needs of banks, brokers, execution desks of PTFs and asset managers, and working with them to discover the right electronic trading solutions for their organization.His arrival further progresses the expansion of oneZero’s Institutional client-focused business development team. Julien Baker’s New Album Merges Religion, Sexuality, and Substance Use
Julien Baker can break your heart with just her voice and guitar or piano. Her music is so intimate that listening to it feels voyeuristic. Her third album, “Little Oblivions,” fleshes out the complexities of her being as an out lesbian, Christian and someone who has endured substance use issues. When she took the leap of signing to a large indie label, Matador Records, in 2017 for the release of her second album, “Turn Out the Lights,” the honesty of her songwriting connected with an enthusiastic audience, especially young women. Some fans have gotten tattoos of her face. Phoebe Bridgers, her bandmate in the all-female singer/songwriter supergroup boygenius, recently said that she’s been asked for clues to Baker’s private life.
Indeed, we haven’t heard much from Baker since the 2018 release of boygenius’ ep. (Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, the other two members of the group, are bi and queer, respectively.) She dropped “Tokyo” as part of Sub Pop’s singles of the month club last year. The delay stemmed for positive reasons (a conclusion to return to college) and negative ones (an alcohol relapse).

Julien’s sexual orientation becomes a matter of attention in an episode of Netflix’s lovey-dovey comedy series ‘Emily in Paris’ season 4. In the second part of the installment, he celebrates the holiday season with Dominique, his “Christmas boyfriend.” They show up at Mindy Chan’s party, only for Étienne to turn into jealous of Emily’s colleague. The previous seasons of the show have provided us with hints regarding Julien’s sexuality, which is not surprising considering the abundance of homosexual characters in the drama series, including Camille and her ex-girlfriend, Sofia.
