Daniel Radcliffe covers the March issue of Out magazine to promote his role as Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings. The show premiered at Sundance to solid reviews, and Daniel’s act in particular is receiving critical praise. The Independent even calls out Daniel for “a defining performance,” so perhaps there will be a day when we stop thinking of him as “that kid from Harry Potter.” Admittedly, I still undertake that.
This Out fire is really gorgeous and will please anyone with a bit of a crush on this Brit, and the interview is beautiful decent as adv. Dan has recently discussed his doctrine that gay sex scenes shouldn’t be any more shocking than straight ones, and he continues that train of thought here. What I’m most impressed about, however, is how Dan interacted with the on-set cast and crew on this feature. He sounds love a terribly kind guy in spite of his status as a big-time movie star. Daniel Radcliffe has definitely grown up since his days as Harry Potter (AKA The Boy Who Lived), hasn't he? From tackling serious plays on the West End to sensationally good horror production The Woman In Ebony, the young Brit has definitely made the transition from child star to seasoned actor - and it seems as if his next project is no different.
Kill Your Darlings, directed by John Krokidas, is set to beat cinemas this Autumn - and Daniel has opened up about what it was like to engage a gay man to Flaunt magazine.
