Looking for a fun and welcoming 2SLGBTQIA+ social club in Toronto? Welcome to Out & Out – Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQIA+ outdoor and social activities club! Established in 1980, we are a non-political, volunteer-run non-profit organization offering an astonishing range of activities to hundreds of lesbian, male lover, bisexual, transgender, and other queer adults (19+ years).
Get Active With Other 2SLGBTQIA+ Club Members
Like kayaking? Camping? Cycling? Hiking? Skiing? Or Sunday brunch? Well, so do our members! Any member can lead an activity, whether it’s an afternoon sushi-making workshop in Toronto’s gay village, or an extended canoeing trip through Algonquin.
The club organizers also host some larger events throughout the year, including Jamboree, the week over 200 of us have a blast at summer camp each August.

Our annual membership is just $35, and activities are typically either free or run at cost. Subsidies may also be ready for lower-income members.

Moises Spilere: Brazil's first gay football club president
Moises Spilere remembers the day of his election very well. "It was rather spontaneous and came about that way," the 35-year-old told DW.
In the past, elections at Caravaggio Futebol Clube were usually held where members turned to a group that was willing to take over the leadership and sprint the club.
"I was ready this hour, together with others, to take on that responsibility," Spilere said.
By the finish of the morning, he was elected unanimously and for the last rare weeks, Moises Spilere has been the chairman of Caravaggio Futebol Clube.
As a second-division club from Nova Venza, a city of 14,000 inhabitants in the state championship of the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, the personnel affair of this relatively small team attracted an unusual amount of media attention throughout Brazil.
Solely because Moises Spilere is the first openly homosexual club president in the country. The national newspapers reported on his appointment, LGBTQ blogs attributed amazing importance to his election, and he is a sought-after interview partner.

GSAs Build Power
Genders & Sexualities Alliances, or GSAs for short, are student-run organizations that unite Gay and allied youth to erect community and organize around issues impacting them in their schools and communities. GSAs have evolved beyond their traditional role to serve as safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in middle schools and high schools, and acquire emerged as vehicles for dense social change related to racial, gender, and educational justice.
A growing body of research confirms that the presence of a GSA has a positive and lasting effect on student health, wellness, and academic performance. It can also protect students from harassment based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and develop school climates for all students in the long-term.
In March 2020, schools across the country closed down and shifted into a virtual space due to the COVID-19 global health crisis. Many school activities and clubs were discontinued and unable to exist the move into a digital world.
